Galileo's Marbles

'Galileo's Marbles' is a three-screen video installation based on Galileo Galilei's experiments concerning the measuring of time. The installation is part of the exhibition "Under Time's Spell" (IN DE BAN VAN DE TIJD), curated by the philosopher of science Maarten Van Dyck (Ghent University).

UNDER TIME'S SPELL - Sint-Pietersabdij, Ghent (7/10/2017 - 25/03/2018)

Time - there is nothing we are so familiar with and yet it continues to elude us. The exhibition « Under Time's Spell »will show you objects that capture the imagination as well asworks written over the centuries in an attempt to solve the mystery that is time. In our audioguide you will also discover the - sometimes quite astonishing - little stories behind this mind-boggling topic.
