In Waking Hours selected for Lo schermo dell'arte, Florence

01 Sep 2015

For six days, November 17 to 22, 2015, Lo Schermo dell’Arte Film Festival, the only festival in Italy dedicated to moving images, directed by Silvia Lucchesi, will place Florence at the center of the international cultural scene, thanks to the presence of artists such as Martial Raysse and Runa Islam; and to the rich selection of the best documentaries on contemporary art and art films, as well as meetings with guests from around the world. This year’s “Focus On” section is dedicated to the German director and video artist Harun Farocki, who died recently. New this year: Feature Expanded, a training program, implemented in collaboration with Manchester HOME and supported by Creative Europe MEDIA, dedicated to artists who wish to make their first feature film.
